How to improve the life of screw in plastic extruder

Regular maintenance of plastic extruder can prolong its life. The simple maintenance contents are as follows:

1、To ensure that the driving parts can provide power for the screw smoothly, it is basically to clean the relevant parts of the extruder. For example: lubricate all moving parts of the extruder, iron scraps or other impurities after the gear in the reducer runs, change the lubricating oil of the reducer regularly, and record the equipment maintenance and wear.

2、After the general plastic extruder leaves the factory for a certain period of time, we must carry out a comprehensive inspection of the equipment and check the tightness of all bolts. In case of damage to threaded parts, replace them immediately to prevent equipment failure during normal use, and make relevant records.

3、During normal use, regularly check the data of electrical instruments and do not overload the extruder equipment.

4、In case of sudden power failure or normal shutdown during production, when conditions permit, before the extruder is ready to start up again, each section of the barrel must be reheated to the specified temperature, and the material in the barrel must be kept warm for a certain period of time to ensure that the material in the barrel is heated evenly for a period of time before starting up.
